NEVER A BRIDESMAID, NOW THE BRIDE...
What do you do when the closest experience that you have to being a bridesmaid is living vicariously through Katherine Heigl in 27 Dresses?
And just when you least expect it, your future husband pops the question and BAM! You're thrown into the emotional seesaw that is planning your own wedding... in a Filipino social setting!
I am creating this blog from the point of view of a 30-ish then-"bride to be" who, although with some experience as corporate events planner, was slowly realizing that she has bitten off more than she could chew, battled with elders about one too many superstitions, guests lists, and faith matters, AND CAME OUT HIGHLY FAVORED!
If you found this blog through Google, chances are that you are now just as I was then... looking for ideas but wary of too many opinions from so many people that you took to the Internet for sanctuary. I hope my collection of wedding planning ideas gets your creative juices flowing.
